This week’s episode of The Office was pretty good. Ryan comes back all sophisticated and elite with the intent to make Dunder Mifflin Scranton the same! Creed doesn’t like this but has his own plan (it involves ink toner) while Michael lectures about age-ism and uses old fashioned buisness methods. Other developments have to do with Kelly Kapur pulling the ultimate girl no-no and Angela telling Dwight that everytime she looks in his eyes she sees Sprinkles (he tells her not to look in his eyes). The end is pretty unbelievable but hilarious as always.
We always knew Ryan was kind of a dick but he’s so harsh! I wonder whether or not the repor between Pam and Jim (PB&J) will stay couply or if they’ll go back to usual antics like faxing Dwight papers from future Dwight. Will Dunder Mifflin Scranton survive technology? Tune in next week.

I first had this cookie when I worked in a bakery while in high school. My favorite cookie they made could be made as a flat cookie or a roll with filling in the middle…easy and fast. I will call them Chocolate Dipped Almond Cookies but you can make them either way.
Ingredients:
- 6 tbsp. (90 mL) butter
- 1/3 cup (75 mL) brown sugar
- 3 tbsp. (45 mL) corn syrup
- 3/4 cup (175 mL) finely ground almonds
- 1/3 cup (75 mL) all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) vanilla
- 1/2 cup (125 mL) semisweet chocolate chips OR premade chocolate dipping sauce
- 1 tsp. (5 mL) solid vegetable shortening (not butter or margarine)
Oven needs to be preheated to 350 degrees and each cookie sheet should be lined with wax paper.
In a medium saucepan, combine butter, brown sugar and corn syrup. Bring to a full boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in almonds, flour and vanilla. Mix well.
Drop the batter into moderate spoonfulls on the cookie sheets and bake for 6-8 min (or until the edges turn light brown).
Remove from the oven and either let them cool in the flat circle shape or wait about 2 min and carefully mold the flat circle around a wooden spoon or something else round to make a roll shape. If they harden, put them in the oven for a second or two and try again.
If you are making your own chocolate dipping sauce, mix the chocolate chips and veggie shortening in a small bowl and alternate between microwave for 30 sec and stirring until it’s smooth. Or use the premade dip. Then drizzle or dip the cookies in the chocolate and let cool.

Wow Ann Coulter is a piece of work. I’d heard her name around here and there but I came across this insane article that says women, especially single women, are voting stupidly and it’s a dream of hers that they get the right to vote taken away. So I decided to dig up some other stuff about what else she thought. Holy crap. She calls her writing “lively and entertaining”…riiiight. To me she’s more like a self-ritcheous conservative blowhard with zero compassion who just wants to be combative. She says totally inaccurate and ludicris stuff and then will not accept any other comments, like here. She even hated on 9/11 widows and said, “These broads are millionaires stalked by grief-parazzies”. Nice Coulter. If you’re so enraged about national security, why don’t you go be petty with the people responsible for our national security. Anyway, I personally think she’s horrible, unjustified in what she says and a pest to both parties. Weird that she happens to be a single woman…
