I just found out that many many tv show’s casts are on strike right now! The Office, 30 Rock, Battlestar Galactica, Desperate Housewives, Grey’s Anatomy, The Shield…you name it. An excerpt from Tina Fey:
“The honks from drivers passing by were deafening and constant, and greatly, greatly appreciated – keep honking! NBC even sent down an *intern* to beg us to quit encouraging the honking, as it was ‘distracting’ to the suits inside. We’ll get right on that. “
This is pretty interesting entertainment. I mean, the shows are airing reruns due to the strike. How much you wanna bet that people who are addicted to their primetime tv (me) are going to get fussy real soon? All this is going down because writers are pissed they aren’t getting payments for shows aired online…I don’t know what the repercussions will be for this. Stay tuned! Because you can’t watch your fav shows anyway.
